Mr. Serna graduated from Whittier College, where he majored in Political Science. He would eventually move on to Azusa Pacific University to earn his Education Specialist Credential, as well as his master’s degree in education. This is both Mr. Serna’s first year teaching at Equitas and his first year teaching in elementary school.  He understands the importance of education in fostering success in our students. His goal is to help students realize and embrace their academic potential so they can excel in future higher education endeavors. In his free time, Mr. Serna enjoys company from his family and friends, playing guitar and piano, and watching his favorite baseball team, the Anaheim Angels.  Mr. Serna is really looking forward to meeting all the students of Equitas Academy 3 and collaborating with his fellow teachers.
