Ms. Corlew is thrilled to be joining Equitas Academy #3 as a founding fourth grade teacher.  She attended the University of Memphis, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Education with a focus on early childhood education.  After graduating college, she moved back to her hometown of Nashville, Tennessee where she taught third grade for two years. She then moved to Los Angeles and worked as a substitute teacher for one year, allowing her the opportunity to work with children of all ages.  Ms. Corlew joined Equitas Academy because it shares her values of college readiness, structure, and high expectations. She believes that all scholars are capable of success with the right resources and support. Ms. Corlew is extremely excited to meet her scholars at EQ3 and build meaningful, lasting relationships with each of them.  She hopes to influence all students to grow a love for school and pursue becoming life-long learners. When she is not teaching, Ms. Corlew enjoys traveling, going to museums, and spending time with her cat, Bentley.
