Ms. FitzGerald loves being a kindergarten teacher at Equitas Academy 3! After teaching for six years in middle schools, she is thrilled to continue having the opportunity to impact students in the beginning of their educational career. Ms. FitzGerald joined Equitas five years ago because of their shared vision of high expectations, student growth, and inspiring students to and through college. Ms. FitzGerald graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she earned her Bachelor's degree in English and Education. She then went on to earn a Master's degree in Urban Education and Literacy at Loyola Marymount University. In her free time, she loves going to the beach, hiking, kayaking, reading and spending time with her family. Ms. FitzGerald is proud to be a teacher at Equitas where she is part of a wonderful founding team and is dedicated to working hard to ensure all of our scholars will become lifelong learners. She believes that through hard work, support and grit scholars can achieve their goals and conquer their dreams.
