Ms. Jauriri is beginning her new journey with us here at Equitas Academy 3 as an Office Coordinator. She has experience working at another elementary school as an Intervention Assistant and Instructional Aide. Ms. Jauriri has a passion for working with children and is currently enrolled at Pasadena City College where she is pursuing a degree in Child Development and is very thrilled to transfer to a four-year college. She has joined the Equitas team in hopes of becoming a part of something greater in the scholars’ journey to and through college. She strongly believes that knowledge is key to a successful and empowering lifestyle. In the Office Coordinator role, she hopes to bring pride, satisfaction, and an easy flow of communication to the entire team, which is constituted by staff, the community, scholars, and parents. She hopes to provide everyone at Equitas with a sense of unity, a sense she lacked growing up in South Los Angeles in the public school system. Equitas' mission to provide a structured and achievement-based community to help our scholars to and through four-year colleges is something that resonated a lot with her own mission and values. Ms. Jauriri is very excited to start this new-year with us and meet our Equitas family.
